I first met Tochs through our mutual best friend and my then college roommate, Ali. We became fast friends and wondered how we hadn't known our whole lives. It wasn't long until we were talking on the phone for hours and planning trips to see each other. She has been my rock through medical school, the pandemic, my brother's death, and now residency. There are few people in the world who I can say have made me a better person and she may be the front runner. Everyday I try to emulate her intellect, her forgivingness, her joy, her light, her spirit.
