We met in Miami 2021 (the infamous trip). We both were coming for separate birthday events but due to mutual friends, kept finding ourselves in the same spaces. The night before we officially met, we were actually sat in the same section in a club but didn’t notice each other (I even have a video where Quadri is in the background and I had no idea until we got together much later and saw). The next day at the beach, a mutual friend had introduced us and we’ve been hooked since.
The best part of our story is that the invisible string has always been linking us until the right time came to act on it. The night at the club was one such event, but two other big standouts come to mind. When we first got together we would always reference this Friendsgiving party that happened in Houston around 2019. We had no idea that we were talking about the same party but one day I went in my phone and started looking for pictures of that night and there’s Quizz in the background of my video.
My favorite invisible string happening is Montreal. As you know, we got engaged in Montreal (which probably seems so random), but it absolutely was not. Montreal is one my favorite cities, and to me, is home. When I was younger, I spent a lot of summers and (cold) winters there with my family. Quadri at points of his life also summered there. We figured out that we were there at the same time and even crazier, our houses were only about 12 minutes from each other. We’ve been destined to meet and love in this life and I’m sure the universe will keep revealing our connection in lifetimes past and future.
